Project Green - Kickoff

We have taken on a new project: A veteran who has served in the Vietnam era is in need of some major repairs to his home. The repairs needed include a new air conditioner, roof repairs, and plumbing. A factor adding to the urgency of the matter is that his wife is currently fighting cancer and is enduring chemo therapy. Just imagine the agony of going through this ordeal and then add to it the Florida heat. Nobody should have to endure the fight with cancer let alone in a home without ac, a leaking roof and plumbing issues. Thus, we are stepping forward in an effort to make it a bit more comfortable for the both of them. The estimated cost of the repairs amount to approx. $4,000 and fundraising efforts begin now.
