Ronald J. Lunsford, born 26 April, 1944 was drafted into the US Army on 14 January, 1966, were he spent the next 24 months training and then deployed into Vietnam. Mr. Lunsford served 11 months and 23 days as a Soldier in the 197th Infantry BDE. Sadly, this Veteran suffered a massive heart attack that took his life and was laid to rest on 11 April, 2014. His widow and adopted 13 year old daughter currently reside in a travel trailer on the front lawn of their home due to a fire that damaged most of their house almost 6 months ago.
